Having inherited historical collections from the Compagnie G\u00e9n\u00e9rale Maritime (CGM) and Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Nationale Corse M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e (SNCM), both derived from Transat and Messageries, and whose objective is acquiring heritage from other French companies, French Lines possesses several sets of certain original items. Several copies of each item are kept in the heritage collections. These copies are protected, meaning that they cannot be sold.<\/p>\n
However, certain pieces that French Lines has inherited a significant amount of, such as complete series of menus, posters, promotional items and tableware, are available to buy. The proceeds from the sale of these items is exclusively reserved for the development, preservation and enhancement of historic collections.<\/p>\n
