First French turbine ship. When put into service, her hull was painted in white then it was repainted in black and again in white at the end of the career. Delivered in June 1908. Adjustments and modifications to the engines delay her assignment to the lines of North Africa until February 1909. Her chimneys are raised to improve the draught and her hull painted in black. From March to May 1915, is used as transport of troops then transformed into ship-hospital. Is used as floating hospital in Moudros but is not used to transport the wounded. Returned to Transat in March 1916 and placed in reserve. Requisitioned again in December 1916 and used as transport of troops then like auxiliary cruiser until December 1918. Her service in June 1921 begins again, after an extensive recondition. From July 1929 to March 1930, undergoes new transformations, in particularly the replacement of the turbines and fuel oil heating. Her central propeller is removed and her chimneys shortened. In 1935, is used during a few weeks on the Bordeaux-Casablanca line, then laid up. Demolished in Dunkerque in 1937.
