Cargo liner of 4500t built in 1908 in Great Britain for the line of cargo liners of Bordeaux towards the French West Indies. Twin of GUYANA (II) built for the same line in the same shipyard. Launched on November 21, 1908, 1st departure for the West Indies on January 15, 1909. Torpedoed on February 20, 1917 at 250 miles of the island of Yeu by U21.
