Compagnie Générale Transatlantique, 1912 - 1920

History
Ex-BRASILE built on behalf of the Italian company La Veloce. Brought into service in December 1905 on the Genoa-New York line. Bought by Transat in 1912. Renamed VENEZUELA and placed on the line of Colon in June. White hull. Transferred later on on the Bordeaux-Casablanca line. Black hull. March 7, 1920, runs aground on the coast close to Casablanca. At the end of a few months, the wreck breaks into two. Demolished on the spot in 1921.
