History

Cargo liner of 1750t, built in 1952 by the ancient shipyards Dubigeon in Nantes for the Shipping Compagny Le Brise (Lorient), under the name of FRANÇOIS LE BRISE. Repurchased on May 9, 1956 by the CGT for the new line on the Baltic ports of the USSR. 1st departure of Le Havre on July 9, 1956. Resold on February 5, 1959 to the « Société Navale d'Imporation et d'Exportation » (Le Havre), renamed ANODIRE. Resold in 1967 to the Shipping Compagny Ignazio Messina (Genoa), renamed MAURIZIOEMME. Resold in 1973 to the Shipping Compagny Ayios Taxiarchis (Famagouste), renamed AGHIOS NICOLAOS, then later on ITHAKI. Demolished in 1975.
