History
Built on behalf of Danish shipping company A/D Thor under the name of THOR II. Brought into service in 1907. Renamed BRAKEN in 1912. Sold (?) in 1917 to Société Anonyme l'Ancre Française and renamed VERDUN. Sold in 1922 to Société de Remorquage et de Transport par Chalands et Allèges de Mer. In 1926, she is renamed NEW VERDUN by the British shipping company Channel Islands & Brittany SS Co.. Sold in 1935 to Société Anonyme des Messageries Africaines (Dakar) and renamed KOLDA. Bought by Compagnie Générale Transatlantique in November 1937. Renamed SAINT LAURENT DU MARONI and used like stationary in the West Indies. Is requisitioned by the French Navy between April and August 1940. Demolished in the West Indies in 1951.
