Brought into service in 1914 on the line Le Havre-Haïti under the name of HAITI. White hull. Sistership: PUERTO-RICO / MEKNES. On May 14, 1917, repulses by gunfire the attack of a German submarine, in the Bay of Biscay. In 1924, is assigned to the Bordeaux-Casablanca line, initially as test, then definitively. Black hull in 1929, receives new boilers in Hamburg, under the war compensations, following what she is renamed MARRAKECH and placed on the Bordeaux-Casablanca line, in January 1930. 12 June 1940, belongs to the last convoy to leave Le Havre, before the entry of the Germans in the city. Between the end 1940 and the summer 1941 ensures a regular service between Marseille ensures and the West coast of Africa, then takes part in the repatriation of the troops and civilians of Syria. Is used then as floating hotel in Algiers and finally as transport of troops. Put again in service in May 1946 on the Bordeaux-Casablanca line. Laid up in November 1950. Demolished in Saint-Nazaire in 1951, after a 37 years career.
