History
Cargo liner of 2750t of 1896, ex-ROSEMOUNT of Montreal Transportation Co., repurchased on December 8 1916 little time after the KINMOUNT of the same company (renamed FINISTÈRE) to replace losses of war. Renamed AUBE, brought into service by the CGT on January 5, 1917. Resold on April 10, 1922 to the Shipowner F.W.Brown, London, taking again the name of ROSEMOUNT. A new resold the same year to the Shipowner D.H. Mapes Jr, Montreal. Renamed AUBE in 1923 by D.H. Mapes Jr and put on the name of AUBE Steamship for a chartering to the CGT. Demolished in 1926.
