Brought into service in November 1893 on the line of Mexico. At the time, she is the largest steamer of Transat built for this line. After the armistice, is used as transport of troops. In July 1919, during a travel to the black sea, runs aground in the strait of Dardanelles. Out of requisition in December 1919. Laid up in 1924. Demolished in Dunkirk in 1925.
