History
Built for the account of a Dutch shipping company under the name of PRINS WILLEM V. Put into service in 1897 on a line connecting Amsterdam, the West Indies and New York. Bought by Compagnie Générale Transatlantique in December 1915. Renamed the DIVES and used on the lines of North Africa, at the departure of Marseille. February 1, 1918, during a travel between Marseille and Algiers, is torpedoed off Bougie by German submarine UB52. 12 victims.
