History
Built on behalf of a Norwegian shipowner, under the name of KONG DAG. Put into service in 1923 on the line Oslo-Kiel. Bought in 1946 by the merchant marine ministry. Management entrusted to the Frayssinet company and renamed FRED SCAMARONI. Put into service on the lines of Corsica. Transferred to the French Line in May 1948. Same service. Returned to the Government in 1953. Used as a reserve ship. Broken up in La Seyne in 1955, afteer a career of more than 32 years.
