History
Built like cargo liner on behalf of the shipping company Mallet et Hautier of Le Havre. Belong to a series of four ships. In 1885, transferred under flag of the Worms company. In 1886, then again in 1899, receives new boilers. In 1910, is bought by Prosper Durand, of Algiers. Acquired by Transat in April 1912. Used without renaming on the lines of the Mediterranean, including for the transport of passengers. September 16, 1917, is lost by stranding in Ras de Sein, close to Plogoff.
