Cargo liner of 8700t, a series of 32 ships of the same type built by VEB Warnowwerft, Warnemunde, of which her Sistership AUVERGNE, the VILLE DE REIMS (II) of the NCHP, SAINT MICHEL and SAINT JACQUES of the SNO. Launched on 26 January 1968, taken over by CGT on 26 April 1968, brought into service on May 15, 1968 on the line of the South Pacific. Transferred to the CGM in 1975. Sold on March 26, 1980 to Venetiko Shipping (Tsakos Shipping & Trading), Pirée, renamed IRENE'S MAGIC. Resold in 1986 to Navigator Shipping Ltd, Vallette, renamed NAVIGATOR BAY, for only one commercial voyage towards Asia, concluded by her arrival to Gadani Beach (Pakistan) on May 19, 1986 for demolition.
