Commercial exploitation

liberte The French Lines Association develops a commercial activity through its tangible and intangible rights which it holds for the support of the functioning and development of heritage collections, inherited in sole ownership from the Compagnie Générale Maritime and the Société Nationale Maritime Corse-Méditerranée which in turn inherited from the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique™and the Compagnie des Messageries Maritimes™.

This activity also allows the Association to pass on to the public, the history of the Merchant Navy in various ways :

Film productions

The Association can make the illustrations of its archives available to interested producers (173 films).

Promote the heritage : regeneration and digitalisation of photos, protection of trademarks, restoration of films and collections (the most remarkable pieces are classified in the National Heritage),
